Shipping charges and restrictions

On orders for items from the Online Store postage charges are calculated on the total weight of the order. By using this method it may be possible to group more than one item into your order without increasing the carriage cost. The maximum weight of one parcel is 20kg in Britain and 2kg abroad.

We deliver by Royal Mail and Parcelforce to Great Britain and Airmail to all other countries worldwide.

We aim to dispatch all orders within two working days.

Secure shopping

With over 20 years experience of outdoor leisure retail we pride ourselves on our commitment to customer service. For this reason this site has been constructed with ease of use and security as priorities.
As you browse through the site you can select items you would like to purchase by clicking ‘add to basket’. When you are happy with your selection click ‘proceed to checkout’ (this will transfer you to a secure server). If the details are correct and you are happy to proceed you will be offered a variety of payment methods.
Once your card details have been verified by our secure payment service provider you will receive a confirmation E-mail. Please retain this for reference.
No sensitive information relating to transactions is stored in an insecure environment or sent via the internet.

Returns Policy

We have carefully selected the manufacturers we deal with to ensure a high level of product quality. In the unlikely event that problems do arise we follow the procedure outlined below:

Incorrectly dispatched goods: In the event that we make a mistake and send you a different product to the one you ordered we will immediately dispatch a correct replacement and arrange collection of the mis-delivered item. Under these circumstances we will meet all carriage costs.

Unsuitable/unwanted goods: If you are unsure about a product prior to making a purchase please contact us before ordering so that we can offer advice. We have first hand experience of all items listed on this site so will be able to advise whether or not they are suitable for the intended purpose. In the event that having taken delivery of an item your circumstances have changed and you no longer require it please notify us (within 7 days of purchase). The goods must then be returned to us through a method of your choice within 14 days of purchase, we will not meet carriage costs under these c circumstances. The goods MUST be returned unused, unopened and in their original packaging. If we are satisfied that these criteria have been met we will, within 30 days issue a refund for the product (we will not refund any carriage costs-this includes the original shipping charge on the order).

Defective goods (not tents)

In the event that goods you receive are defective or damaged please notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will then send out a replacement and arrange collection of the defective item. In the event that you do not want a replacement the defective item must be returned to us for inspection with a completed returns form Once we are satisfied that the item is defective we will issue a refund (we can only refund postage if a receipt is sent with the item).

Service Agreement

Delivery timescale: From receipt of your order we aim to process and despatch the goods within 3 working days. We use reputable carriers who pledge to deliver goods on time however there are occasions when items go astray. If you do not receive your order within a week please contact us so that we can trace the parcel and rectify the situation.

Back orders: We endeavour to update stock levels on a regular basis so that items shown as available for purchase on the site are actually held in stock. There are occasions when an item becomes out of stock while it is still ‘live’ on the site. If this occurs and we are unable to fulfil your order immediately we will contact you to discuss options. These options would of course include cancellation of the order.

Product images: The images we have used on the site are to the best of our knowledge faithful representations of the products. We cannot guarantee that the colours depicted are a 100% match.

Product descriptions: It is our aim to provide concise and accurate descriptions of the products. Descriptions are updated immediately should inaccuracies become apparent. Should changes in specification occur between the placement of an order and dispatch we will contact you to discuss the changes.

Privacy: We will not disclose your details to any third parties.

Payment security: Our payment system is secure and meets the requirements issued by consumer protection and law.
